Unfortunately, we need more than just the luck of a 5 leaf clover!  We honestly believed that when we showed the county a literal binder full of evidence of subdivision evasion we would not just be ignored.  We thought if we followed the proper complaint channels and filed formal complaints we could not be ignored.  Over the course of almost a year of this and per the recommendation of several county employees we were forced into taking legal action to be heard.  This case can be PRECEDENT SETTING for the whole State of Montana, encouraging counties to follow their own laws and to give citizens the due process they deserve.  This is not just a problem in our neighborhood, it is a problem across Ravalli County and other Montana counties as well.  Maybe you won't need to be the next to receive no due process!  We can fix this now, simply by showing our elected officials how to follow their own laws!  It is unfortunate it takes the huge costs of a lawsuit to incite change.  Every bit helps.  Thank you!
